Gardens

We promote a healthy lifestyle which includes physical exercise. Our Nursery has extensive grounds which are divided into three areas, accessible by all children.

 

The outdoor area is also used as an extension to the indoor environment.

 

Hard Surface Area

 

This area provides free flow play from the Swan Room. There is sand and water play, tools, musical instruments etc. Children in other rooms also have the opportunity to access this area.

 

Large Grass Area

 

This area is used for obstacle courses, the bouncy castle and of course our Sports Days. We also have a vegetable garden in this area.

 

Grass/ Tarmac Area

 

This area is used for our wheeled vehicles, sand and climbing frames of various sizes. It is also used as our discovery area, for den making and gardening.
